In a valley, among the beautiful hills of the central Istria is the place of Gologrčki Dol. Only 5 kilometers far from Cerovlje, you can enjoy in an untouched nature, a mild climate and hospitality of the numerous Stojšić family, whose name can be found in the oldest registry book of Gologorica Parish already in 1664.
Having such a long tradition of life in this region, the preparation of istrian specialtes for the woman of the family is a piece of cake. In a traditional setting of konoba (wine cellar) you will have a opportunity to taste bread baked in the bread oven, pršut or a smoked ham, cheese, panceta or straked bacon, maneštra or Istrian stew, fuži - Istrian pastry or njoki - Istrian dumplings, rafioli - filled pastry or meat from čeripnja (bread oven). In the winter time you can get warm beside big, traditional fireplace and try Istrian supa (bread in wine) or fried sausages with sauerkraft.
Accomodation for guests
If you decide to stay longer, you can get a comfortable accomodation in a 4 beautiful double bedrooms. If you wish, the hosts will involve you in the activities in the household (for example, you can learn cook Istrians specialties), in the field or with numerous domestic animals. You can try to milk a cow, pick grapes, mow, plant vegetables...
Our courtyard
Istria is rich with historic little towns that you can visit on hiking tours. One can pick mushrooms, asparagus, blackberries and elder along the way. The hosts will offer you to ride a horse or to drive karoca (a coach). A crystal clear brook runs through the farm creating a natural, large waterfall falling down into pond, a memorable swimming experience in the summer.

How to reach us?
From Rijeka or Pula by Istrian motorway:
From motorway (Istrian Y) exit Cerovlje, than follow the signpost for Boljun. After few kilometres turn right to Gologorica and before you enter in village, turn left on panoramic road which descend in a valley. On the bottom there`s a signpost which leads you right to Lukačići.
From Rijeke or Pula via Vozilići:
In Vozilići, you turn toward Pazin, pass through Kršan and Potpićan. In a place called Zajci turn right for Tupljak, afterwards the waymark leads you left to Gologorički dol. |
