Where are we?
|
|
The village Munci is situated in the wider area of Pazin. If you are arriving from Zagreb, Rijeka or Pula, it is best to take the "Istrian Y" road, leave it on the exit Pazin - zapad (west) and follow the directions to Žminj. One kilometer further, in Žbrlini, you"ll find the direction for Heki. Pass through the village and across the railway. Then continue by the right road that goes round the village Grubiši.

There is an apartment for five persons arranged in typical Istrian house built of stone and covered with slates. |

On the first floor, there is a kicthen/living room with a fireplace. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, microwave, filter coffee machine, toaster, cooker, traditional old-fashioned stony sink and all the kitchen accessories. There is a SAT TV and a radio. All the rooms are heated. |

A bathroom with a shower,a toilet and one bedroom (double bed) are also on the ground floor. In the loft, there is one more room with a double bed and the additional single bed. |

Our big enclosed courtyard is at your disposal too. In the shadow, under the viny eaves, there is a big wooden table for serving meals. |

If you prefer preparing the meals yourselves, we can offer you various home-made food. |

We keep many different domestic animals in the separated part of the courtyard: a dog, a cat, a goat and turtles. |
Activities
Walking
There are no marked walking trails around, but we shall be glad to recommend and show posssible walking routes on the map to our guests..
Cycling
Several cycling routes described in "Istra bike" book pass close to our household. If you prefer recreational and light bike-ride, keep to the wide Central Istria plateau with many roads and paths. Riders who prefer MTB riding may come to their own too, because the trails described in the mentioned book are meant for them and repeatedly descend into the valley of Draga. We rent 4 bicycles fo recreational ride. The nearest bike service is 7 km away, at the entrance to Pazin.

Munci is situated in the shallow valley surrounded by low hills, away from noise and stress. Around the village there are red ground fields separated from many pathways by low walls built without mortar. The village is inhabited by 60 people, of whom 15 are children.
