Our household is located in Sveti Petar u Šumi (cro. St. Peter in the Woods), a small place in the central Istria, between Pazin and Žminj. It is widely renowned for its beautiful baroque church and Paulist convent, where one of our oldest Glagolitic monuments – the Supetar fragment – was found. Sveti Petar is located 12 km away from Pazin, and 7 km from Žminj. You can reach it by road going from Pazin to Žminj, or by a special road going from Žminj to Sv. Petar, but also by train. Before you start your trip it would be best if you checked the large map.

Sveti Petar u Šumi is a place consisting of a series of smaller villages. Our village is called Dolinci, and it is situated not far from the centre of the place – the parochial church of St. Peter Paul. Regardless of the direction you come from you will see its tall belltower, so use it as an orientation mark. Not far from the church, at the crossing of old roads to Pazin and Žminj is an old Calvary with three stone crosses. Go from the Calvary towards the church and then proceed along the main road, and you will come to Dolince. Our household is on the right side of the road, housenumber 213. |
Accomodation
Our guest suite is located in the old part of the house, on the ground floor, it is rustically decorated and has a direct access to the yard. At Your disposal are: a sitting room and a kitchen combined in one room also containing 2 beds, bedroom with a marital bed, toilet and shower, TV and SAT. We can provide a computer and online access if necessary.
Our yard
In front of the house is a shady garden, and in the back yard there are many domestic animals (hens, turkeys, a dog, rabbits, pigeons). Around the house there are numerous fruit trees (apples, plums, peaches, apricots, pears, kiwi fruits, grapes)

At Your disposal is also a large room with a firepalce (lišiera) built to the model of traditional Istrian kitchens, located right next to the suite.
Activities
The village is surrounded by beautiful countryside where you can stroll or ride a bicycle. We shall help You choose the routes that are exactly to your taste.
